I’m a Design Lead at Publicis Sapient defining digital brand experiences with a keen eye on design detail and craft. I combine product thinking with experience design and am a big advocate for working in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Working for clients like Nissan and Unilever I’m responsible for laying the groundwork of the design direction and driving the design vision. As part of my daily work, I facilitate client workshops, build/recruit design-teams, plan and scope new work and represent the team in front of our client. I closely collaborate with the other domain leads to achieve the best possible experiences.

‚Own Your Potential (OYP)‘ includes a Marcel. ai blog space with curated content, an e-learning space, and a Spotify Podcast Series where we talked to leaders across the organization with stories on how they’ve taken control of their career path.
Besides working on shaping and rolling out the initiative, I have defined the art direction for the final product.
Responsible to execute and define digital visual identities for our clients. Leading the art direction of our projects and regularly presenting to senior stakeholders and C-level representatives.
We’re a group of 26 people, chosen from a pool of over 300 applicants by CEO Nigel Vaz. We’re expected to drive change and ensure employer happiness at PublicisSapient. To meet our goals we’re having regular check-ins with the global LT and monthly mentor conversations.
Last year, PublicisSapient partnered with YSYS for their six-week Digital Product Design programme. In collaboration with Create Jobs and Reebok and funded by the Mayor of London, it’s focused on giving digital work experience and subsequently career opportunities to young Londoners from underrepresented backgrounds. I held two workshops in front of their students and was mentoring individuals of the cohort and continued doing so beyond the programme.
Working closely together with Design Leads on clients like CreditSuisse, Mercedes and DHL. Co-creating digital experiences always with a lot of attention to brand and craft.
I was mainly responsible for defining the new digital identity for Robert Bosch directly reporting to Senior Art Directors and Senior Management. I quickly took on more responsibilities in our teams, leading the digital design system and gaining client exposure.
I studied Communication Design for 3.5 years at the Institute of Design Duesseldorf. During my studies I learned everything around classic editorial design, corporate identity, photography and majored in web design.
